Points of contact (POC) for the SMMC office and SPD are contained in paragraph 15.

7. Detailed programs are being developed and will be promulgated separately.

8. Tasks
a. Invited SgtsMaj, MGySgts, and CMDCMs are required to submit a visitors request via the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) with the security management office code M30000; the POC for this request is Ms. Catherine McCarroll Catherine.mccarroll@usmc.mil. Secret clearance is required to attend classified briefs.
b. Administrative, logistics, and other information to facilitate online registration, lodging, transportation, and any special needs requests will be sent via email.

9. Orders. Individual commands in USMC billets will fund and issue orders for their attendees. Travel orders for principals assigned to non-USMC commands, please contact Mr. Randy Kowski at randy.kowski@usmc.mil 703-693-2821 to coordinate Line of Accounting, or for funding issues. All orders should be non-reporting. Government quarters and messing are not available. Rental vehicle is authorized.
10. Locations. SMMCS-19 will be held at The Clubs at Quantico in Quantico, Virginia. More information about lodging and registration, including a one-stop registration website which reduces the time and effort necessary to register, will be provided through an administrative/logistics message via email.

11. Transportation. Government transportation will be provided for all official functions.

12. Financial. A non-reimbursable fee will be collected from all attendees participating in the SMMCS-19. This fee covers the costs associated with catered meals, refreshments and social events on the official schedule. This cost is not reimbursable on travel claims and the cost of the meals is covered for attendees on travel orders through per diem. The preferred method of payment is through the online registration process. Alternate method of payment: mail fees to the address provided below or hand deliver to Pentagon Room 2C252A no later than 3 October 2019. Checks payable to “Special Events Fund” should be mailed to: Special Projects Directorate, HQMC, P.O. Box 25272, Arlington, VA, 22202-9272. Due to the requirement for SPD to pre-arrange catering, RSVP’ing for this event obligates the attendee to the amount due (no adjustments will be made 3 October 2019.)

13. Uniforms. The required uniforms and civilian clothing are Service Charlies, business casual, and civilian casual.

14. Weather. The average temperatures for the Washington, D.C. area in October are 69 degrees (high) and 46 (low), with humidity around 67 percent. The average rainfall in October is 3.4 inches.
