Teddy Shriver was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He was taught at a young age the importance of service and community. From volunteering at Special Olympics and Best Buddies programs to being a Senate page under Senator Ted Kennedy, he was taught that to whom much is given much is expected. He went on to study marketing and brand development at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He began his Peace Corps service as a water and sanitation Volunteer in Peru from 2011 to 2013. Since returning from the Peace Corps he has worked at Best Buddies promoting the mission and spirit of inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
