Justin Fugle served in Paraguay 1995-97 as a small business development volunteer and was the first PCV in his site. After spending months learning more than teaching, Justin eventually supported an agricultural cooperative to diversify its income streams by opening a farmer's market, and by selling their traditional cotton crop to another cooperative at fair, guaranteed, international prices. Justin has continued to work in international development with program experience in Latin America, Africa and Asia and is now the Head of US Government policy for Plan International, advocating for global gender equality and foreign aid reform. Justin holds an MA from George Washington University and BA from Syracuse University and lives in Arlington, VA.
