Doris Rubenstein is an author and journalist from Richfield, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Michigan she lived in Ecuador as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 1971-1973. Doris has worked with several non-profit organizations as a fundraiser and also did consulting with family and corporate foundations. Since 2000, she has published six books, two relating to her Peace Corps experience: her children’s book The Journey of a Dollar received the IBPA Silver Franklin Award in 2017; her most recent book The Boy with Four Names is getting rave reviews on Amazon.
