Kelsi Seid is a RPCV who was evacuated in 2020 from South Africa where she was a Health Volunteer. She previously served as an Education Volunteer in Guyana from 2017-2019. Currently she works with survivors of sexual assault as a crisis counselor in Oakland. Kelsi is a sixth generation Californian and second generation RPCV, inspired by her mother who served in Botswana from 2010-2012. In her free time, she enjoys playing ukulele, a skill she honed during her service in Guyana.
