Margo Jones
Evacuated PCV Turkey (1966–67)
Margo Jones is an EPCV from Turkey 1966-1967 in Rural Community Development. She was born and raised in Baltimore. A graduate of Mt. St. Agnes College (now Loyola). She studied 5 languages before age 21. She was a professional model in the Baltimore-Washington area in her teens and 20’s. In the past, she has also operated her own marketing and advertising agency. She has been actively involved in tourism, public relations and fundraising for over 40 years. She served as N.Y.S. Deputy Commissioner for Tourism Development for 3 years, administering the I Love NY campaign. Next she was Philanthropy Director for the Westchester Chapter of the American Red Cross in White Plains, NY. From 2001--07 she was Tourism Director for Westchester County. She is a Past President of the White Plains, NY Rotary Club and the Ocean City/Berlin, MD Rotary Club
